A Family Legacy Born in Popcorn
My grandfather planted and harvested his first 10 acres of popcorn on our family farm in 1944. Then he loaded up the bed of his pickup truck and set off on the dusty back roads of Southern Indiana selling his popcorn town to town. This is where Ramsey Popcorn Company was founded.
In 1960, my father and his three brothers took the helm at Ramsey Popcorn Company. They launched our Cousin Willie’s Popcorn brand featuring the iconic character touting dad's familiar cowboy hat, bright plaid shirt and red suspenders, of course.
75 years later, we remain a true family-owned and operated company growing the best tasting popcorn in the world. Well, that’s what our family thinks anyway. And that means you’ve got my personal guarantee that your family and friends will LOVE it too!
